I don't accept promises, becasue most people don't stay true to them.Yes every puppy come with an application to be registered through the CKC:

No. All money is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason. The reason for a deposit is for me to hold the puppy for you. If I am holding a specific puppy for you, he can not be sold to anyone else. If I was to transfer the deposit to another puppy, I would be loosing several potential sales while the puppy was marked sold. I would have to start all over looking for a new home
for the puppy. Yes, a 72 hour health guarantee. See Policy page here:
http://flamespleasurekennel.weebly.com/our-policyplease-read-all.html If there is a proublem we can handle it. Please contact me the moment something happens. All puppies must be paid in full before they leave our property. We do not let a puppy leave that has any money owed on it.
Most puppies can be picked up between 7 weeks.
I can take as many pictures and videos as you want of the puppy you have picked. I will allow you to come SEE the puppy you have picked out, I can not have multiple people here handling my dogs, Unfortunately, I've learned the hard way. I had people who have been 'puppy shopping' at several other kennels come my place. This is very dangerous for my puppies, as people can bring in all kinds of diseases they may have picked up from someone else's kennel or anywhere for that matter. I know what the puppies have and have not been exposed to. This helps guarantee the health of your puppy when it arrives at your home!

Answers:Yes! Car sickness is common among puppies. It is a good idea to bring an old towel or paper towels just in case. Holding the puppy in your lap may help him feel more secure and help prevent car sickness, Or you can bring a crate to put him in. Car sickness normally decreases with age and more frequent car trips. So if you start a puppy our liking car rides then he should grow out of getting sick. I do not feed my puppies the day you are picking them up, so they will hopfully not get car sick on you.
This is tricky, I would try to not stop really. Puppies can sick by walking around where other, possibly sick puppies have been. You can not be too careful. Wait until you get somewhere your puppy can safely potty where there have not been a bunch of other puppies. Gas stations and other parking lots are not the best choice either.
When you first arive home, your pup will be scared. It has just been taken from its home, its mother, and it's litter mates. So talk softly, move slowly, cuddle and play with him. All of this will help him learn that he is home. He should be right back to happy running around with in an hour or two. If you have childeren make sure they are watched while with the new puppy.
What to feed: When looking at a dog or puppy food the rule is you get what you pay for. Which means buy the name brand kind, not the off brands. We feed Purina Dog and Puppy chow. So I would suggest feeding the same or buying a small bag and mixeing with the new food if you are changing.
When to feed: There are two ways to go about feeding your puppy. One it to "free feed" which means food is always available to him. The other is to use a feeding schedule, breaking his daily amount into several different feedings. Choose the feeding option that best fits your schedule. Our adult dogs have a free feed. Our puppies are are fed 3 times a day. When they are being weaned, we might feed 4 times a day. If you are free feeding it is best to remove the food before late that way your puppy won't have an late night accidents. Also if your puppy gulps his food when you feed it (sometimes making himself sick) he's probably not getting enough food or not getting it often enough, making him think he has to hurry or it won't be there. For people who stay at home and want to potty train their puppy the best choice is a feeding schedule. Take your puppy outside 15 minutes after each of his 3 daily feedings. Eventually this will become a learned habit and he will want to go outside regularly. As
he grows older he will only require feeding once a day but will already understand that his potty place is outside. (Or on the paper if you go that route). For paper training we recommend "Wee-wee pads". Placing him on the pad after each feeding. Once he's used to the pad you can make a slow conversion to paper by first covering the pad with the paper and eventually using paper only. Hypoglycemia is low blood sugar. “Puppy Hypoglycemia” is seen in toy breed dogs less than 5 months of age. These dogs have more brain mass per body weight compared to other breeds and therefore need more glucose for brain function. A puppy that is not eating well is more prone to getting "down". Signs are weakness, loss of mental alertness, wobbliness, muscle twitching, seizures, and death. Treatment is if the puppy is not eating well a little honey or corn syrup can be added to his food to help alleviate any drop in his blood sugar. Intravenous dextrose (a sugar) is needed for treatment of most severe cases. If the dog is having a seizure at home, the owner can try rubbing corn syrup on
the gums while transporting to the hospital. Large amounts should not be fed unless the dog can swallow. Once seizures are controlled, blood work and other diagnostic tests should be performed to determine the cause of the problem. Parvo virus is officially known as Parvovirus. Parvovirus affects puppies much more frequently than it affects adult dogs. The virus grows in rapidly dividing cells. The intestinal lining has the biggest concentration of rapidly dividing cells in a puppy's body. The virus attacks and kills these cells, causing diarrhea (often bloody), depression and suppression of white blood cells -- which come from another group of rapidly dividing cells. In very young puppies it can infect the heart muscle and lead to "sudden" death. Parvo is carried by dogs and is often in the ground where the infected dog has deficated(used the bathroom). Parvo can remain infectious in ground contaminated with fecal material for five months or more if conditions are favorable. Extremely hardy, most disinfectants cannot kill the virus, however chlorine bleach is the most effective and inexpensive agent that works, and is commonly used by veterinarians. Puppies need to be treated with a preventative shot at 6, 9, 12, and 15 weeks of age. Even puppies who have been vaccinated on a regular basis are not protected until they are at least 18 weeks old. a Parvo is highly contagious to unprotected dogs. Dogs and puppies can contract parvo even if they never leave their yards. Parvo virus, despite what you might hear, is NOT an airborne virus. It is excreted in the feces of infected dogs, and if someone -- human, dog, bird, etc. -- steps in (or otherwise comes in contact with) the excrement, the possibility for contamination is great. Some people speculate that birds
invading a dog's food dish can deposit the parvovirus there. If you think you may have come in contact with parvovirus, a strong solution of bleach and water does kill the virus, so you can wash your shoes and clothes, even your hands with it, to reduce the risk of infecting your dog. Rest assured that parvovirus is specific to dogs alone and cannot be transmitted to humans or other pets. When dogs and puppies contract parvo, they often have diarrhea - usually bloody foul-smelling, vomiting and lethargy. Symptoms usually begin with a high fever, depression, and loss of appetite. In many cases, dehydration, shock, and death follow. The best treatment is prevention, but if you even THINK your puppy has parvo GO TO THE VET!!!! A heartworm plan is a necessity here in Oklahoma. You have to have a vet prescrition to get the medication that is needed. You start at 6 months and continue from there. It is ALWAYS easier to prevent heartworms than it is to kill them and clear the dog of them.
All puppies here are dewormed with D-worm tablets at 2,4,6,8 weeks. Adults are dewormed every month. We use the tablets because they are easy to get the puppies to swallow. You simply place the amount needed in some food and they normally eat it all up. The tables themselves are flavored.
Our adult dogs are dewormed every month. All of our puppies are given:
6 & 9 Weeks Combination Vaccine*: without leptospirosis 12 & 15 Weeks** Combination vaccine*: include leptospirosis Adult dogs are given Combination vaccine every year. IF YOUR EXPERIENCED AND EDUCATED you can give your puppies their shots yourself by lifting the extra skin on their neck, and then administering the shot. * A combination vaccine, often called a "5-way" includes adenovirus cough and hepatitis, distemper, parainfluenza and parvovirus. Some combination vaccines may also include leptospirosis ("7-way" ) and/or coronavirus. The inclusion of either canine adenovirus-1 or adenovirus-2 in a vaccine will protect against adenovirus cough and hepatitis: adenovirus-2 is highly preferred. ** Some puppies may need additional vaccinations against parvovirus after 15 weeks of age. Consult with your local veterinarian. Be aware....just because your puppy has had all required shots, it is not 100% guaranteed your puppy will not get sick. Typically at 16 weeks of age your puppy should have had all 3 sets of puppy booster shots and is ready to explore and venture into the world. At this time you may go visit doggie parks, and congested areas, that before were considered off limits to your new puppy. I would suggest unless you are experienced and trained in vetting a puppy, you take it to a vet to have all this done. I do know how expensive this is, but nothing is worth the price of your puppies life.
It is best to leave a puppy at home away from any other pets or people that have had contact with other pets before it has all it's shot.. This is so nothing passes between the pets or people to your puppy. I would suggest no on the dog park before the puppy has finished it's shots. If you take them to Pets Mark PLEASE keep them off the floor.
Your puppy will be up to date on its shots according to its age when you get it. This normally means it still have some shots to go. Parvo, for example, is very dangerous and unfortunately can still be contracted after several sets of shots. You can keep your puppy healthy by making sure its had its full set of shots before you take it to public places!
If you ever have questions PLEASE contact me.My cell phone is 405-687-0469 Call OR text anytime! Once a puppy leaves here we love to hear updates and get pictures.
